On Monday, March 10, 2025, 9 Lisbon students attended the Southeast Region Science and Engineering Fair in Fargo. They brought home the following awards: Ty Cavett & Peyton Radtke - 1. SERSEF Animals Sciences Award Lily Oster - 1. SERSEF Medical Award, 2. Junior Division Gold Medal (top 20 - advances to state) Ben Sutherland - 1. NDSU Department of Psychology Best Junior Division Project in Behavioral Sciences, 2. Junior Division Gold Medal (top 20 - advances to state), 3. Invitation to Participate in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge (for placing in the top 7) Tony Vetter -1. Lemelson Early Inventor Prize, 2. SERSEF Plant Sciences Award, 3. SERSEF Technology Award, 4. SERSEF Water Studies Award, 5. Junior Division Gold Medal (top 20 - advances to state),6. The Lisbon High School Sources of Strength Team is hosting a spirit week starting Monday centered on the Sources of Strength Wheel. The Wheel highlights areas that we focus on to build a strong self and positive community: mental health, family support, positive friends, spirituality, mentors, medical access, and healthy activities. Lisbon High School will be dismissing at 2:45 that day to help facilitate the safe travel of any students and staff attending the game.
