Wednesday, we hosted our annual Career Day. Our juniors and seniors, along with students from neighboring schools, started with a career fair where they had the opportunity to visit with leaders in a wide variety of career pathways and college representatives from area colleges and universities. Afterwards, our juniors split into break out sessions where they enhanced their skills as critical thinkers, had a lesson on money management, learned about all things “adulting”, dove into real world job expectations, and practiced the art of writing thank you cards.
Our students finished the day having a much more comprehensive view of their career options and grew further towards being ready to face their futures head on. Thank you to Mrs. Zahrbock and Brian Zimprich for organizing the day and to everyone who helped with the career fair and break out portions of the day to make this event a success once again!
